This is an unofficial release, and has not been approved by The Residents or The Cryptic Corporation. THEY HATE IT!!!

The OHM series was a series of (at least) fifty limited edition bootleg CD-R releases by a Greek bootlegger known by various aliases including "cosmicprog" or "OHM",[1][2] containing rare and unreleased material by The Residents, as well as other Ralph Records artists (including Snakefinger, Tuxedomoon, Chrome, MX-80 Sound and Schwump. The series began circulating in 2015. MusicBazz, the website which the bootlegger sold the CD-Rs through, was no longer active as of 2020.

The OHM series is now most noted for generating a considerable amount of previously unreleased archival Residents material which has since been traded freely among fans over the Internet (most notably, the rarely-heard 1970 Pre-Residents demo tapes Rusty Coathangers for the Doctor and The Ballad of Stuffed Trigger).

It has been said that much of the previously unavailable material which found its way to a public audience around this time was sourced from tapes stolen from The Cryptic Corporation's archives by an unidentified individual, and then later sold for profit. As such, Cryptic and The Residents have discouraged their availability among fans, and have denied the authenticity of some items in particular.
