Maggie's Farm
"Maggie's Farm" is a song written by Bob Dylan, from his 1965 album Bringing It All Back Home.
It was recorded by the group who would later become known as The Residents and was included on their 1971 demo tape The W***** B*** Album.
History
"Maggie's Farm" would be among the first tracks from The W***** B*** Album to be released by The Residents, on their 2012 compilation album ERA B474, and again in 2013 and 2016 on The Delta Nudes' Greatest Hiss and The Residents Present The Delta Nudes.
It was heavily remixed by The Residents in 2003 for release on the album WB:RMX.
It was officially remastered from the original tapes and released as part of the pREServed limited edition vinyl pressing of The W**** B*** Album in April 2018. This remastered version of the track was reissued on CD on the compilation album A Nickle If Your Dick's This Big in 2019.
