Time is a song from The Residents' 1988 epic, God In Three Persons.
Background
Normally this is where some information about the songs lyrics would be but this is the only instrumental on the whole album. It likely signifies the beginning of the end by suggesting "its time".
Recordings and Performances
Unlike most songs on this album there simply isn't many versions other then the original. This song was even absent from the God In Three Persons soundtrack. It was revealed in 2019 that a early demo of "The Touch" contained a almost complete version of this instrumental as the tracks ending,
The song like many others was first performed live on January 24th, 2020 during the God In Three Persons Mini-Tour. A recording from the tour would be featured on the live DVD. This version largely stays faithful to the album versions structure with additional visuals and accompanying choreography.
