Smelly Tongues was an unofficial discussion email mailing list and fan club dedicated to The Residents, which was founded by fan Dr. Fritz Rotwang in 1998 and moderated by noted collector Kim "Ima Buddy" Andrews until the group's dissolution in 2005.

Smelly Tongues counted among its members artist Poxodd and James "tzoq" Redekop, the creator of the semi-official fan site RZWeb. Archives of the group's mailing list digests remain available via the Internet Archive.
