Arn Schlürmann, better known as Paralyzer (April 15th 1964 - November 7th 2024) was a German musician, producer and "remix whiz" active in Hamburg since the late 1980s.[1] As Paralyzer, he released two singles, "The Movin' Generation" and "Bip Bip Bop" on RCA Records in 1997.
In 2003, Paralyzer was asked by The Residents to remix tracks from their 1989 Elvis Presley cover album The King & Eye. Paralyzer accepted the proposal, but asked The Residents to allow him "free rein" in producing the remixes;[1] the resulting RMX project, The King & Eye: RMX, was released by Euro Ralph and Bomba Records the following year.
