Big Brother is a name and persona applied to The Residents' electronic public relations.

The term "Big Brother" may refer to one of the following:

• Big Brother, the official Ralph Records Bulletin Board System (or BBS), which operated between 1984 and 1985 using Frank Johnson, Ralph's Apple II computer.
• Will Rothers, a persona adopted by Hardy Fox in his role as webmaster of The Residents' official website and later, Fox's Hacienda Bridge website and email newsletter. Authored the Historical sub-blog The Last Word.
