"Absurdly Early" is a private cassette tape containing material by The Residents, which is kept in The Cryptic Corporation archive.
The contents of the cassette are unconfirmed; its existence is known to the public only from a photograph of the tape posted to the group's official Instagram account in August 2017, with the caption "Absurdly fun find in the archives. What could it be and when will it be released?"[1]
At the time of said post, the group were preparing their pREServed series of expanded and remastered releases; the cassette was possibly discovered while searching the Cryptic archive for material to include in the series.
